As you know, cricket is played between two teams of eleven players on each side. While one team is batting, the other is bowling. The aim of the batting team is to collect as many runs as possible while avoiding getting dismissed too quickly. The aim of the fielding team is to get the batting team out as soon as possible, with as few runs as possible.

The base cricket game opens up the doors to many betting options.

Different Cricket Disciplines

The three main ways to play cricket are Test Cricket, One Day fixtures and Twenty20.

The Twenty20 format cricket has been around since 2003, and since then it has quickly grown to become one of the most popular formats in the world. Games are short, only about three hours in length, making live betting even more exciting.

Test cricket is the lengthiest format of the game and needs days to finish. Usually, in a Test match, both teams have two turns to bat. It might not be as Fast-paced as other versions, but that doesn’t mean it’s boring, on the contrary, it provides plenty of opportunities for in-play betting as the game changes.

Cricket Betting Markets

There’s a whole bunch of things to bet on, ranging from the simple win or lose, to more intricate wagers like predicting how long it is before a partnership breaks up.

Match betting involves wagering on the outcome of the match. It’s just like placing a bet on soccer, rugby, or any other sport.

For your cricket bets, you can try something new and pick who will be the best batsman and the best bowler. The first bet, you’ll need to correctly pick which batsman is going to hit the most runs. With the second one, you’ll need to pick which bowler is going to get the most wickets. You may also make bets on the total amount of boundaries scored, opening partnerships or how the batsman is going to get dismissed.

Always keep gambling fun and never wager more than you are able to lose.
